The sixth generation of a world famous Lancer Evolution was introduced in 1999 and from the beginning it was clear for all that this machine is even better than its predecessor. The new regulations of WRC forced also some changes in the exterior of the car, but these were only minor. For the engineers the above mentioned changes were the way to improve performance – the front air dam was now contained in the bumper silhouette and the rear spoiler’s size has been changed.
